What customers say?

“ Perfect place to grab a bite before or after visiting Shikisai-no-oka. Udon is made in-house using Biei wheat and has a chewy, springy texture. The menu is simple with a small variety of flavours, but all are delicious and there's also a tempura bar to pick up extras to go with your meal. It's a typical cafeteria style self-service restaurant but simple and easy to enjoy. A great perk about dining here is that you can validate your parking ticket to get free parking for the day. ”

“ What a surprise. Found this by chance as they close later for lunch. The udon is perfectly bouncy and fresh. Order your soup base and add additionals like tempura, chicken etc If you come by car, give your ticket at the Counter to change it to free parking. ”

- Mervyn Phea -

“ Tasty broth and springy udon. Pick your own tempura and pay. Lots of seating and plenty of parking. Parking is free for customers of the restaurant. ”

- Richard Yong -

“ Fairly decent udon that claims to use their own wheat grown locally to handmake their udon inhouse. Reimburses parking fee, quite tasty overall. The cold udon noodle has great texture. ”

- Norman C -

“ Good Udon restaurant. You order the udon dish first, then along the queue you can pick the tempura to pair with your meal. The food was great, even though they got our order wrong. Service was good, but the queue was long and slow. If you’re coming to the flower gardens nearby, this place is worth waiting for. ”

- Nigel Phoon -

“ Tasty Udon place at the attraction. Order your basic udon either hot or cold then proceed to add on additional tempura. Nice food. ”

- K. T -

“ Convenient udon restaurant right next to the flower attraction. You pick your udon base, then get to add some toppings like fried chicken or beancurd or fried crab legs. English menus are available. Udon is really tasty and chewy, especially the cold ones. ”

- Alvin Poh -

“ Everything is just what I needed, self service udon restaurant with few types to choose from, either cold or hot udon. After a visit of the flower field, if you do not have much time left and you want to eat something nice, here should be the best choice. As it is a self service style restaurant, please be considerate of not staying there long, especially when there is a long queue of customer outside. Food wise, we had cold soba with teriyaki pork slices, which is yummy. But side ordered tempura vegetable just soso..... ”
